Collaboration between Grupo VAPF and the Association of Neuromuscular Illnesses of the Valencian Community (ASEM CV)

Grupo VAPF has once again made a financial donation to the Association of Neuromuscular Illnesses of the Valencian Community (ASEM CV), for its programme Promotion of personal autonomy. The aim of this programme is to encourage the affected person to be as independent and to have as much personal autonomy as possible, on a physical level as well as mental and psychosocial.
ASEM CV is a NGO that has worked since 1983 to improve the quality of life of those affected by neuromuscular illnesses and, of course, of the family members and/or carers.
Currently, they provide support to 400 people, through development activities like occupational therapy, speech therapy, psychosocial support through mutual support groups and therapeutical seminars. All this and a support, information and advice service for those suffering from these illnesses.
Here at Grupo VAPF we feel proud to collaborate so that those who are affected by neuromuscular illnesses, through maintaining and improving their functional abilities, get to improve their autonomy.
